The computer nature of the universe and life could not be realized until the modern computer was created and evolved to a certain degree. It is like nature and the universe hid its true nature from man until we developed the computer and computer science. As we shall see, computer science and computer terminology supplies us with the best terminology and analogies to understand the nature of Man, God and the universe.

I then began to realize that the universe is really a gigantic computer and all physical and carnal things in it are really hardware made up of source code (DNA, etc.). I began to compile a series of analogies between the computer, Man, God, and the universe. The more I probed into these analogies, the more it began to make sense. I began to realize that Man is really God’s avatar in his own creation, creating!

What really drove this home for me was when I began working with a well known 3d program called “Bryce” which allows you to create 3d virtual worlds. I loved working with this program and I still do. It allowed me to create a 3d world/object and then actually enter into this 3d world/object and create from within it. For example, I would create a 3d world with a building in it (pyramid, whatever). The building would begin as a solid rectangular block which I would first hollow out. Once hollowed out I would enter it using a camera as my avatar. When I first entered it was dark, so the first thing I would do is create a light source and put it in the building (“let there be light”). Once I had the light source in the building, I would then begin constructing floors, walls, doors, etc. I would then even create and import previously made furniture and props in this building. In doing all of this, I loved the profound effect it had on my consciousness. It literally makes you fell like a god creating a world, and the most fun part was literally entering into this world you created in order to experience it and create more while in it.

As a result of this experience of creating virtual worlds and entering into it, I begin to realize that the Man, God, creation and the universe was the exact same thing. After God the creator created the universe, he entered into it (just like I did with the 3d virtual world I created) and using Man as his avatar to experience and further create within his own creation. Thus what we call reality is really a virtual reality program created by God and Man is the avatar of God in his own creation, creating.
